Every now and then a trend appears from out the blue and this time its men’s pink underwear. This trend is driven more by the consumers rather than the brands and designers themselves, it seems men just like pink pants.

Partly inspired by Summer Brights 08 and staying on trend well into Spring/Summer 09.

Pink is a great colour for men’s underwear, especially when it is unexpected. It’s a great colour that brighten or warm up your skin tone, it warms up the paler tones and contrasts darker skin perfectly.

Everyman seems to wearing a bit of pink from fashion icons to style gurus even if you can’t see it, and more and more underwear brands are bring out collections and pieces with pink as a main colour or highlight.

Diesel men’s underwear always on trend, have added pink where it can to their collections, the UMS-LUKEX with its bold pink trim and waistband and the two pink versions of the UMB-NEW-BREDY, Carnelian a light pink with grey detail and black with pink highlights.

MANstore have a thing for pink using it as a colour option in many underwear collections, the MANstore MASTERCUT, MANstore TACTIC and MANstore TRIGGER, all use it as a main colour or as a colour preference.

The Miami Vice Summer 2009 collection from D&G Underwear Man, uses a subtle pink with contrast grey waistbands and trims for very stylish preppy retro look.

It's not just block pink for men’s pink underwear; some brands have opted for pink highlights, trims and patterns, on their undies.

European designers have been using pink as a main colour in collections for many seasons, MANstore and Olaf Benz use pink a colour variation in many of their ranges.
